Environmentalism on Set

I am an active member with Green the Bid and always seek to integrate a net zero waste policy when possible. As more and more bids take direct action by including environmental services, I’m happy to share my resources, crew and best practices on set.

Community Integration

Volunteering with local communities in a giving back policy has been a part of my work for over 20 years. Donations and volunteering have included: Black Girls Surf, Brown Girls Surf, Heal the Bay, Surfrider Foundation and Habitat for humanity. Girls Rock Camps, Planned Parenthood, community gardens and the ACLU.

Diversity in Action

As a working model, I seek to hire BIPOC, LGBTQI, non-binary, female identified and marginalized people for crew and production needs in order to diversify the photography field. I identify as female, LGBQTI and am a first generation American.

Hello Traveler,

Thank you for coming by! My name is Natalja Kent and I’m the artist behind S/O Manifest. I’m the daughter of gifted artists and formally trained in painting and photography from my earliest years. You can see my fine art here.

When I’m not making art/photos/film you can find me surfing, playing in my band or tending to my dreamy Highland Park garden.

What I love about commercial photography and directing is the collaborative, highly imaginative and generative process. The incredible folks I get to work with in this industry are like rare earth magnets, drawn together by our shared creative polarity.

I’m so glad you stopped by and I hope you’ll be in touch! Studio(at)SOManifest.com
